Heyy Winers! For those who don’t know, my birthday was a couple of weeks ago, hence the lack of content. Ya girl has been busy having the time of her life but I am back just in time for my Gemini winers. Join me as I run down my top picks for birthday bubbles!

Balan Prosecco:

Coming in at my top pick for a birthday bottle is an easy sipping prosecco that comes in a gorgeous golden bottle. I have gifted this bottle for birthdays, weddings and even retirements. ‘Cheers to the golden years.”  Made in the Charmat (tank) method, this wine has a soft and delicate mouth feel that is perfect for simply sipping or you can add some juice and make the most of it with a mimosa party!

Valdobbiadene Prosecco:

Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, often abbreviated to just Valdobbiadene (Val - Doe- Bee- Uh- Den- Ay), is a DOCG located in the larger Prosecco DOC in northern Italy. The wines here have stricter regulations and the wine is considered to be of a higher quality. The palette is a little more complex and the bubbles more pronounced than a typical prosecco. So if you want something that is not quite a cava or champagne but a little more developed than your average prosecco, this is the wine for you!

The Valdobbiadene I drank on my birthday!

Ravantos Blanc de Blanc Cava:

One of my favorite go to bottles, this Cava is produced by the family of the man credited with the invention of Cava. Made in the traditional method with indigenous Spanish varieties Xerel-lo, Macabeo and Paradella, this Cava drinks beautifully for any occasion; especially for a birthday brunch or dinner with the girls!
